What this website collects
This website sets no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or store anything on your device and does not track you across other websites; it tells us things like which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. If you send us an enquiry, we receive:
- your answers about what you need (product type, where it will be used, conditions, format, quantity, timing and any notes);
- your name, company, work email and, if you give it, your phone number;
- the address of the page you sent it from, the name of the website that referred you, and any campaign tags in that address.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and see which of our websites bring in enquiries. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.
Who handles it
Your enquiry reaches us by email through Cloudflare, which runs this website, and Microsoft 365, our email provider. Both act as our processors. The form itself stores nothing. Our Microsoft 365 email is stored in the UK. Cloudflare's network is global, so your enquiry may pass through servers outside the UK; Cloudflare's data processing terms include the safeguards UK data protection law requires for that.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for 5 years after our last contact with you, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Email sales@rugged.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
